What kind of earth friendly things can I use to get rid of spider mites?
Thanks
Chris

Chris, spray all leaf surfaces in early morning with a strong jet of water for three days or use an organic insecticidal soap like “Safer”. Maureen

My hydrangeas are growing just fine…very leafy but NO flowers. What gives??

admin 08.21.09 at 1:19 pm

Tony, you are in the same boat as many others this season, lots of foliage because of the rain but no bloom because of the lack of sun. I hope next season is kinder to us - my hydrangeas by the way are in the same condition. Maureen

thank you so much for coming to the First Church of Clinton on Saturday, May 15th to our annual ladies tea! We totally enjoyed your presentation. You mentioned that you would be publishing a book soon. When is this book going to be available? We’d love to have you come to the church again for a book signing event!

Just want to know how I get to the site to purchase gardening stuff

I recently saw you at the Higganum Valley Farmer’s Market and I am very interested in you manure tea and where I might purchase some. My garden is small, very sandy soil. So I took your advise and put down a layer of manure and will do so again in the fall. Thanks for all your good advice. I really enjoy you on the radio and in person.
Catherine, keep checking the website and you will notice when and where the manure tea will be available for sale. So glad you enjoyed the garden earth talk and keep up the applications of manure. Maureen
